Design a magazine for a social group who don't currently have one.

Description
After analysing several contemporary magazines I was asked to find content for and design a magazine that currently did not exist. I picked referees, the men in sport who are often overlooked and almost never acknowledged for their hard work.

 

I researched everything referee. I went to watch their games, went backstage and interviewed them and learned about the secret and often un-exciting world of referees.

 

The design of my magazine reflects what I discovered about their unique work in the form of rigidity, simpleness and close attention to detail. Shown are some sample pages from the 36 page publication.
